This card turned out so well, I love it and I’m totally going to make it in some other colours combinations. It came together quite quickly too which is always a bonus. I find its good to have a few quick makes up your sleeve for the moments when it’s sprung upon you that you need a card, like yesterday!
I made the background by stamping the Number Jumble background stamp from MFT on some Pro Design 300gsm paper in Ultramarine Crisp Dye Ink from Altenew. I stamped it a couple of times to get a more crisp colour.
I used the Giant Hooray Die from Lawn Fawn to be my main element on the front, it is cut from a blue glitter card from Hobbycraft and also layered up with two white die cuts to give it some dimension. I stamped the bears with Onyx Black Versafine Ink and coloured them using my Faber Castell Polychromos.
One of the bears was stuck to the hooray die cut before I stuck it down to make it look like he was looking through one of the O’s. The sentiment on the front is from MFT Balloon Besties. I used my Sakura black glaze pen on the bears eyes & the balloon is finished with glossy accents which gives it some fun dimension and shine. I then stamped a white panel to stick inside with the Happy Birthday sentiment from Bitty Bears and another cute bear. I paired it with a white envelope which I again added another cute little bear.
