MFT’s Happy Mail

I got this stamp set last year from Dies to Die For at a craft fair in London. I was lucky enough to find it in the discount tubs so obviously I had to have it!! And these little cuties were an absolute joy to colour in. I stamped all the animals that are included in the set in onyx black versafine ink and coloured them in using Faber & Castell polychromos colouring pencils and then cut them out with their matching dies.

I cut a frame from some patterned paper that I had in my stash & some white card using the Mama Elephant Four Window Cover. I took the white windows & using salvaged patina Distress Oxide ink & a blending brush I created some ‘sky’ like backgrounds for behind my images. My images are stuck down using foam pads to give them some dimension.

I used one of the sentiments from the set which I stamped on white card and then cut out in a strip its layered up again for dimension. The bunny’s glasses are finished with glossy accents which gives them some shine and dimension, I also used a Sakura glaze pen on the animals eyes which helps them pop a little. I stamped another of the sentiments on the inside along with the cute pig & on the envelope I stamped the hedgehog with his bag of letters.

Thanks for stopping by, I have listed my supplies below.
