Cute & Simple Snowman

This is the last of my 2024 Christmas cards that I had hoped to share before Christmas but time got away from me. I still wanted to share this card as it was a fun and easy one to pull together and just look at how adorable he is! He is a digital stamp from Rachelle Anne Miller and in his original state he is actually in a snow globe. I took inspiration from some of the images on her website and made him bigger so that he filled most of my card front and you couldn’t see the snow globe element.

Snowman Christmas Card.

I coloured him using my Faber Castell Polychromos and used Gamsol to smooth it over and give it a more polished finish. I cut the panel out using the 2nd biggest of the Mama Elephant Basic rectangles, I then mounted it on black card and cut it down to leave a thin border before mounting it on a red & white spotty patterned paper from my stash. All of them are then mounted on a standard sized red card base. The sentiment I used is from the MFT Bitty Holiday Wishes stamp set, its white heat embossed onto black card which is layered up 3 times for some dimension.

I finished the card off with some glitter to give it some Christmas sparkle! This card came together pretty quickly so I replicated 3 more times, giving 2 of the snowmen a blue & white scarf and blue hat band. Sadly I didn’t get a chance to take any photos before I sent them out but they were just as cute!
