Happy New Year! Can’t believe thats another year done and were already 9 days into 2026! I’m looking forward to seeing what 2026 has in store.
I’m going to try and share posts more consistently in 2026, I’m going to simplify them to just give the necessary information about the products and methods I have used. I’m not good a fluffing things out so hopefully this will work better and feel less daunting. So here’s the first card post for 2026…
This card is a little different in that it was made using a digital cutting file that I brought from Etsy (link listed below) and my Cricut. I think I’m in the minority that have never read nor watched the films so I always feel out of my depth when it comes to Harry Potter but when I needed a card for one of my sons friends who is a Harry Potter fan I came across this digital file on Etsy which actually contains versions of the 3 main characters.
I picked out various colours of card from my stash and cut each layer out, all the layers are stuck together using liquid glue and I used glossy accents to create the glass for his glasses.

I’m really happy with how it turned out and I’m glad I now have them on stand by for any other Harry Potter fans I need cards for!
