Spellbinders – Personalised Pooh Bear

I’m a huge Disney fan & especially Winnie the Pooh, so when I saw the Spellbinders Say Cheese Classic Pooh Collaboration with Simple Stories I just knew I had to have it! And wow I’m totally in love with it all. I have slowly been adding the different elements to my collection as & when I can afford to. I’m still in need of a few the original bits & they have just had another super cute additional release, if you haven’t already seen it then you should definitely check it out!

For this card I decided to use the Pooh Bear and the balloon dies.

Winnie the Pooh personalised birthday card.

I cut Pooh out of some yellow textured card from Crafters Companion, the balloon is cut from some light pink card scraps from my stash, the number 9 as well as the letters are all cut from gold foil card.

The number & letters are layered up (2x white,1x gold) to create some dimension. I added a little distress oxide ink to Pooh & the balloon to create a little shadow.

The blue patterned paper in the background is from the Simple Stories Say Cheese Classic Pooh 6×8 paper pad, I cut it out using the largest of the MFT Stamps Wonky Stitched Rectangles. The striped paper in background is from a Hobbycraft A4 paper pad which I’ve had for a while.

It’s all adhered together with glue except Pooh Bear & the balloon stuck with foam pads to give some dimension.

Personalised Winnie the Pooh birthday card.

I love the final card! Its fairly simple but just how cute is Pooh Bear?! I know this will be a much loved & well used set, I would love for them to do a Christmas add on like they have for the Mickey & Minnie Sets (another collection which I am slowly collecting!).
