As you may have guessed from a previous post I absolutely adore this simple little die set, there is just something about it that makes my heart happy! I also know Christmas has been and gone but these really were to cute not to share! Because I adore this set so much it just made sense to make some Christmas cards using it and spread some dancin’ panda Christmas cheer! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I started off by cutting enough die cuts from card scraps to make four pandas, the panda is the Dancin’ Birthday Panda from Spellbinders Monster Birthday Collection. In order to make him christmassy I cut the hat from the Dancin’ Snowman die set and the candy cane from the Dancin’ Deer die set, I used white glitter card for the white bits of the hat and the candy cane to give the finished card some sparkle. I cut an oval focal panel using the Altenew Nesting Ovals die set and used the Spellbinders Sparkling Snow 3D Embossing folder by Simon Hurley to add some interest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The patterned paper is from a 12×12 paper pad I’ve had in my stash for several years, it was perfect to use with the pandas & the colours that I had used. The card base is made from the same red card that I used to create the strip down the middle of the card and also on the hat and candy cane. The panda is stuck down with foam pads in order to give him some dimension & also enable his legs to move. I heat embossed the ‘Wishing You Christmas Cheer’ sentiment from MFT Stamps Christmas Cheer stamp set onto black card, I stacked it up with another two layers of card for some extra dimension. This is such a fun and playful Christmas card which I loved sharing with my loved ones this Christmas. I truly love this die set!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
